Peace used to feel boring to me.
I didn’t know how to rest without the rush. I called it ambition, but really it was survival — constantly bracing for the next storm.
Then one day I realised… I was the storm. Always reacting, always doing, always fixing.
So I decided to become unavailable for chaos — emotionally, mentally, energetically.
That didn’t mean cutting everyone off or pretending nothing affected me. It meant learning to pause before I engage. To ask: Is this mine to carry?
Some people fell away when I started protecting my peace. Others softened with me. Both were blessings.
The biggest shift wasn’t external — it was internal. I stopped proving my peace and started protecting it.
✨ Reflection:
Boundaries are sacred self-respect. They say, “I honour my energy enough to use it wisely.”
✨ Affirmation:
I am at peace with peace. I do not chase what disturbs my spirit.
